Dissecting flowers!

Image
During Science, on Wednesday, we dissected a range of flowers with our partners. We were able to pull apart the flower piece by piece and reveal the ovules (eggs) right in the centre. We created an exploded view diagram where we displayed each different piece of the flower on to an A3 sheet of paper with labels detailing what the part was and its function. It was a lot of fun and the children were able to test out our new range of Science equipment too. Please enjoy the photo. Thanks Mrs Bailey
