Hit the Surf 2018!
Afternoon, We had a fantastic day yesterday working with the RNLI at Seaburn Beach. The children were really engaged during the water safety talk and gave some excellent answers to the questions - they knew quite a lot al! The children were then given their wet suits (which was good experience for Derwent Hill). They were quite speedy which was impressive. During the warm up the children played lots of different games which involved team work - it was a fun way to start the session. Both groups had a go of both body boarding, where they were trying to catch the best waves and also a session where they learned how to save someone if they were in danger. We really did have a fantastic day and I know the children absolutely loved it! I tried to capture most of the day - enjoy! Thanks
